This is a small booklet, 4 x 3 inches and has a soft cover. The first printing is in 2004. It is a new booklet. It is a simple booklet that goes over amber in general.
There are 20 good photos and 20 pages in this 'little jewel'. The booklet is easy reading and you will learn from it. For instance, did you know that amber is the only fossil resin which contains 5 to 8% of succinic acid - a multi purpose theraputic. It tells you where the majority of the succinic acid is loacated in amber.
This is fun and easy reading. Its content is different from the others in the series.
Gabriela Gierlowska talks about pressed amber and its value compared to non-pressed amber. Her famous lizard is mentioned along with a bit of the historical aspect of amber You can't miss with a bookelt like this.
This booklet is loaded with information. Both the writing and the photography are really very good. You'll enjoy this and also learn from it.
