A Feather!
This feather was on a bird 25 million years ago. A gust of wind or a brush on the tree knocked the feathers off, it became wedged in a mass of sticky resin and it was discovered 25 million years later. Feathers, as I am sure you can guess are are rare as hen's teeth. This one of particularily nice. It is good sized also, being about 1 inch in length. If you look closely you can even see the barbs in the feather. I took a bunch of pictures under the microscope - just beautiful parts of an ancient feather . Here is a Scanned Image!
