Normal Postage
Most of the time,
items are sent using the United States Postal Service. They are normally
sent Priority Mail (which normally takes 2 to 3 days). This will cost
you a flat $4.05. Books on the other hand are usually sent Media Mail
which is much cheaper and much slower. Sometimes on overseas shipping,
if the item is much more than $4.05, an email will be sent requesting
more postage. If no response is received from the email, the item
will be sent "surface mail", in other words, by ship - and
that takes a long time.
Faster
Delivery:
On the other hand, many folks need their items overnight or a 2-day
delivery. Yes, we can do this. Nominally we ship FedEx, but of course
can also ship items via UPS and DHL. Please understand that overnight
delivery is more expensive. Whatever the actual cost is what you will
be charged. A ballpark estimate of something between 1 and 16 ounces
would be $24 for overnight delivery or $18 for 2nd day delivery using
FedEx (reminder - the cost just quoted is just a 'guess' and
not the exact amount). By the way, if your company has a FedEx number,
we can use that instead.
How
can I use FedEx?
The web checkout system does not support anything other the normal
USPS amount for shipping ($4.05). For that reason, if you want
overnight delivery or 2nd day delivery, you will need to call
your order in. Our telephone number is 719-488-2654. You will
need to know what you want to order and also your credit card number.
We will package your order and then add the overnight charge to it.
You will only be charged what the actual cost ends up to be, nothing
extra.
Finally,
we are not in the office 100% of the time. More than not, we are in
the shipping or stocking rooms. You may have to leave a message, but
we will call right back.
Sometimes
orders are heavy and do require more postage. We will contact you
in that case. Rest assured that in 95% of the cases, the postage is
no more than $4.05 (amber is light.)

Postage for amber will usually cost $4.60 (USD) per order, anywhere in the world. There may be exceptions to this. We will get your sample
to you as soon as possible (usually mailed the same day or at worst, the next day). U.S. orders
go out by Priority Mail, overseas as Air Mail. Books are normally mailed "Media Mail", unless they are light, in which case they are mailed first class.
Overseas books are air mail unless the weight is prohibitive, in which case you will have the option of surface (ship) or paying a bit extra for air mail.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. If you are overseas and want something other than normal air mail - contact us when you make the purchase.
