In case you are wondering what this has to do with amber, the cam is sitting on top of "Amberica West" - the place that sells the finest Dominican Republic amber! We are located in Colorado Springs, right across from the United States Air Force Academy at the foot of Pikes Peak. We hope you enjoy the USAFA cam. We also know, this is a long ways from the Dominican Republic.

There is a good selection of amber for sale at this website. All the amber has insect or organic inclusions. The animals are identified to the Family and some down to the Genus level! Often the botanical specimens can be identified also. Most of the amber is from the Dominican Republic. Needless to say, we sell other items associated with amber, for instance amber jewelry, magnifiers called loupes to view small specimens and even candy amber!
