Dominican Pendant #7
91 grams of real Dominican amber. This is just loaded with animals and forest debris. There are 2 female worker ants, Hymenoptera, a true midge, Diptera, Chironomidae, a cicada, Homoptera, Cixiidae, a sprig of a Bryophyte, a wasp, Hymenoptera, some winged termites, Isoptera, and finally even a roach, Blattidae. I am sure there is more, but I gave up at this. All animals are slightly obscured by debris from the forest floor. This is a cool piece. The 'rope' holding the amber is about 16 inches long. It is large and it is impressive.
